Alabama API is proud to announce that Dr. Matha S. Arun has received "Presidential award" at the 30th Annual AAPI Convention held in Long beach, CA June 27-July 1, 2012. This award was given in recognition of his excellence in leadership, Service to the National AAPI organization and Personal support to Dr. Sunita Kanumury, the outgoing President, during one of the most difficult period in AAPI history.
He also received the honor of introducing the Indian Ambassador to USA "Mrs Nirupama Rao" who was the Chief guest for the main event of the convention on Saturday June 30, 2012.
