-Registration fee is $50 for each person for the whole event if you register before Nov 18, 2014.  There is no separate fee for CME program. $50 per person fee includes attendance both nights, Food, Drinks, CME and Entertainment. 
-Guests of aAPI members pay $50.  Non-physician guests may not attend CME. 
-Non-members will be charged $75. 
-Registration is free for medical students and residents.

Saturday Morning CME PROGRAM

November 22, 7:30am to 1:30pm

Dowdle Center (Corporate University)

109 Governor’s Drive, Huntsville, AL

 

Message: 
-Pharma and other sales associates can set up exhibit booths Saturday (11/22) morning in designated areas. Booth hours: 7:30 AM to 1 PM. 
-Meeting will be held in Conference Rooms (119 B and C). On ground level (1st floor) straight back and to the right. 
-You should find some parking in front of the building. Additional parking is located at the corner of Harvard Street and Longwood Drive. There is paid parking available at Governor’s Drive Medical Tower. 
-Breakfast (Saffron), Coffee from Starbucks and Lunch (Nothing but Noodles) will be served. 

CME PRESENTATIONS

9:00-10:00AM: “Clinical pearls: Learning Guidelines from interactive cases ” Dr. Parekha Yedla, MD, Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine University of Alabama School of Medicine, Huntsville Campus 
10:00-10:30AM Break, Visit exhibits 
10:30-11:30AM: “American Beliefs about the End of Life and the Importance of Advanced Care Planning” by Dr. Monica Williams-Murphy, MD, ER Physician Huntsville Hospital 
11:30:12:30PM: Panel Discussion: 
1. Brain Health: Psychological and Spiritual Needs of our Patients 
2. Difficult patient: Medical and Psychiatric Perspectives

12:30-1:00PM: Break for Lunch and Exhibit

After the CME session all the members are requested to stay for the General Body Meeting.

-You can park on the street or use public garages on Gates avenue and Fountain circle. The meters are free on the weekends and after 5pm.
